Alex Iwasyk Defends MSc Research on ACTIVATION and Patient-Reported Outcomes

MSc student Alex Iwasyk defended his graduate research on May 13, 2026, focused on ACTIVATION: MSK Oncology, Mobility and Patient Reported Outcomes.

This work contributed to the broader ACTIVATION Health research program, which combines mobile-health tools, activity tracking, and patient-reported outcomes to better understand recovery trajectories in clinical populations. Alex’s project helped connect the platform’s technical infrastructure with real-world clinical research questions in musculoskeletal oncology and recovery science.
