Sunnie Vuong Presents Cerebral Palsy Muscle Research at Four Conferences
NSERC summer student Sunnie Vuong presented her research on “Structural Characteristics of Adductor Longus and Gracilis from Children with Cerebral Palsy” at four venues this year:
- McCaig Institute Summer Student Symposium (August 13, 2025) — Oral presentation
- 2025 Transdisciplinary Child & Maternal Health Trainee Research Day (August 26, 2025) — Poster presentation
- 26th Annual AB BME Conference (October 25, 2025) — 8-minute oral presentation
- HPL Seminar (November 20, 2025) — Seminar presentation (alongside summer student Priyal)
Sunnie’s work builds on the lab’s ongoing collaboration with Alberta Children’s Hospital, investigating structural muscle differences in pediatric cerebral palsy populations. Congratulations to Sunnie on an outstanding summer of research and dissemination.
